Do you fear God? No, I mean, really….do you fear GOD?

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.~Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.~Psalm 111:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.~Proverbs 1:7

“In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows. “I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.”~Luke 12:1-9

“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth”—Hebrews 12:6.
There cannot be a greater evidence of God’s hatred and wrath than His refusing to correct men for their sinful courses and vanities!
Where God refuses to correct, there God resolves to destroy! There is no man so near God’s axe, so near the flames, so near hell, as he whom God will not so much as spend a rod upon! “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” (Rev 3:19).
God is most angry when He shows no anger!
Who can seriously meditate upon this and not be silent under God’s most smarting rod?
